Ok, so maths can be a little daunting. It can be fun though, and there’s no denying that without lots of clever people to make sense of it, we would be at a rather loose end. For example, without maths there wouldn’t be stickers (and lots of other important things too of course, but stickers seemed most appropriate!).
The 6th March is World Maths Day, it began back in 2007 to get pupils excited about maths, and all around the UK, and the world, schools will get online and take part in challenges and activities (it’s also happening already with warm ups going on throughout Feb). It’s a great opportunity to have some fun with maths while teaching children essential skills and all about its importance.
World Maths Day is part of the World Education Games, an annual global online challenge aimed at getting students excited about learning. Take a look at their website for more information and how to get involved.
Whether your taking part in the World Education Games, or planning some in-school challenges, take a look at our range of maths stickers and reward notes for a great way to motivate and encourage your pupils and reinforce the marvelousness of maths!
