This annual event aims to encourage and support young ones to get outside and walk to school. We know that it isn’t possible for everyone but this month is also a very good opportunity to get children thinking about road safety skills, appreciating the local community, and the importance of regular fresh air and exercise.
The aim of Living Streets is to make walking to school an option for every single child. They run various projects up and down the country and have lots of ideas for supporting this mobile month including promoting safe road crossings, making car free zones and walking buses.
We have a whole host of rewards to support the walk to school, from stickers and reward charts to badges, bookmarks, certificates and praise notes, many of which can be customised to say exactly what you want.
