Aldenham School Teach Meet

Aldenham School Teach Meet
June 19, 2014 The Sticker Factory

dino 'monster effort' stickerBack in May we were lucky enough to attend the inaugural Teach Meet at Aldenham School. It was a great event with lots of brilliant speakers, and some delicious biscuits too!

The sense of community, sharing ideas and good practice at the Teach Meet was just brilliant. So when Aldenham asked us if we’d like to contribute something for their blog about stickers in the classroom, we were delighted, and thought we’d share our piece here too. We like to think of ourselves as a pretty creative bunch, so have written a poem to express our sentiment:

Stickers in class make great motivators,

Tiny ones, sparkly ones, we’re sticker innovators.

It doesn’t stop there, we make all sorts of rewards,

Classrooms are such lovely stickery places with a Sticker Factory hoard!

Keen on customising? Then we’ve got something for you,

Each custom reward’s lovingly made by us,* there’s not much we can’t do.

Reward all term long, we’ve got a wonderful selection,

So when in comes to marking and motivation, don’t settle for less than Sticker Factory perfection!

OK, so we’re not in quite the same league as Wordsworth or Keats when it comes to poetry, but with rewards, we think we’re right up there. Don’t just take our word for it of course, our lovely customers say it best:

“I just wanted to say thanks for the extremely quick turn around time for my order, I received it yesterday and the products are fantastic. Thanks again for your help.”

“I wanted to say THANK YOU so much for the great products and such efficient, quick service. I also really appreciate the replacement cap for my 3-in-1 stamper which was complementary, that was most kind of you. The children in my foundation class really love receiving your stamps on their work and the messages really help and save time for my assessing.”

Head over to our website where you’ll find our complete range of products. Why not also take a trip to the TeachAldenham website: it’s run by a group of teachers from Aldenham School who believe in the power of collaborative learning, sharing good practise and have lots of great content on their blog.

*except custom stamps: we set the design in-house and they are sent to Norwich to be made… but we couldn’t quite fit this in our poem!
